Over 30 million tons of cargo in Rostock for the third year in a row

For the third year in a row, cargo handling at the overseas port of Rostock exceeded 30 million tons. “With 31.3 million tons of freight, a new handling record was set, exceeding the previous year's result by four percent,” said Dr. Gernot Tesch, managing director of port operator ROSTOCK PORT. “The 2025 transshipment result confirms the efficiency of the companies and authorities operating in the largest universal port on the German Baltic Sea coast. Rostock's port is an economic beacon for the city and the state.”
